Cost: S$3.30 as of 24 April 2014 (1 piece) ~ [Quite expensive as considered in the muffin market of Singapore BUT feels very expensive from personal point of view]
Review:
I had it taken away at about 4pm and was taken from the display chiller. At that time, there were two muffins left. The counter staff asked if I would like to have it heated up but declined as I would like to know how it taste like if its not heated up. This was because, I will be bringing it back home and will be warmer by the time I have reached home. It was loosely wrapped by a white paper and placed in a plastic bag. As it was taken from the chiller, it felt quite chill.
Top Layer: As you can see from the picture that there were quite an amount of chocolate chunks which made it attractive. However, they were not as chocolaty as per my expectation though I still can taste the chocolate slightly.
Base: Most of the chocolate chunks seemed to appear only at the top layer. Thus, I could barely spot any chunks at the base. The muffin did not have much chocolate taste at all and it was rather oily and quite dry.
Overall: The chocolate chunk and the muffin itself did not meet my expectation in terms of its chocolaty level though it is from a very well know fastfood Café. Maybe this is not their specialisation. (*This is the excuse I can give... haha*)
Uniqueness: Chocolate chunks are used in their muffin and not chocolate chips, chocolate rice or etc...
What I LIKE: Nothing, not even the chocolate chunks!!
Conclusion: I will not buy again!!
